Champaign Police Department congratulates graduates of 2025 Community Police Academy

Champaign, IL – The Champaign Police Department congratulated six CPD-sponsored graduates and their classmates from the 2025 Community Police Academy.

The department partnered with several area agencies to host the nine-week program, which provided local residents with an inside look at law enforcement practices.

Participants learned about the tools, tactics, and training used by officers to keep communities safe.

The department expressed pride in supporting the graduates and continuing its partnership with neighboring agencies to strengthen community relationships.
