Champaign Police Department officer retired after more than two decades of service
Champaign, IL – The Champaign Police Department announced the retirement of Officer Kristina Trock following a 23-year career with the department and a total of 28 years in law enforcement.
During her time with the department, Trock served in multiple roles, including Field Training Officer and Defensive Tactics Instructor.
She was widely recognized for her work in the department’s K-9 Unit, where she served as a handler for several police dogs, including Baak, Solo, Cash, and Lando.
Officials noted that Trock and K-9 Lando, who retired in 2024, will now enter retirement together.
The department expressed appreciation for her years of service and dedication to the community.
