Motorcycle driver seriously injured in I-65 in southern Indiana crash Sunday afternoon, police report

Indiana – Motorcycle driver is suffering serious injuries and is in critical condition following a crash on I-65 Sunday afternoon.

According to the police report, Indiana State Police were dispatched on I-65 South at the 36-mile marker near Crothersville just after 12 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers who responded at the scene only informed that a motorcycle was involved in the crash and that the driver suffered life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transferred in hospital for treatment.

Southbound lanes were temporarily closed to allow air care to transport the victim to the hospital. As of 12:30 p.m., all lanes are back open.

More details regarding the crash are expected from Monday.
