UNO Criminal Justice Professor Gains National Exposure as Expert on Policing

UNO Criminology and Criminal Justice associate professor gains national exposure as an expert on policing.

Dr. Justin Nix, associate professor of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice (SCCJ) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), has gained national exposure lately on policing.

In fact, Dr. Nix is now known as an expert in the developing research area of policing. His recent assistance on the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) report on police shootings. Nix was responsible for conceptualizing and performing analyses, crafted the results, and helped the ACLU use the data in a meaningful way.
