Balboa Road to close between Dover and Coronado for storm sewer construction

Champaign, IL – Starting at 7 a.m. on Oct. 21, Balboa Road between Dover Place and Coronado Drive will be closed to allow SNC Construction to complete storm sewer work, according to the City of Champaign.

The project is expected to be finished and the roadway reopened by 4 p.m. on Oct. 27, weather permitting.

During the closure, local traffic will still be able to access driveways and refuse collection from either cross street.

Traffic on Dover Place and Coronado Drive will remain open and unaffected throughout the construction period.
